Savegame release: Patapon 2

It's time to release the patapon savegame! This hacked savegame works on every psp, with or not a custom firmware.
This savegame include some tricks that help you to play better this psp game.

These two saved games are hacked with the kaching cheat in order to create more patapons. There's also some items that help you to fight better.


Savegame

This is the original psp save game, just with cheats!
This savegame can be used also in a playstation portable WITHOUT custom firmware.

If you don't know where or how to copy this psp save, check instruction on How to copy save game into psp
With savegame you have to play the game from the status made by us. And sometimes (almost alwayes) you want to use your own saved game just by adding to it tricks.

There is a way: a savegame editor, here called patchator! With a save editor you can modify your savegame!

Remind to extract the save data and copy them into /psp/savedata in your playstation portable.

That's all. If this patapon savegame works well, comment us! If not, tell us what's the problem.

    i have copied the save game into psp but i encountered "Load failed. The data is corrupted". Can you help me?

    Thank you. My psp version is 3.71 and I'm playing EU version of patapon 2.
    I've downloaded the Patapon 2 save game from this website's link. Using this save game I overwrite it with my current save game in the psp.

    Hi, I would like to say thanks for the save game that you sent me, but it appears that I still can't load the save game.

    From the load game it said the file is corrupted.

    Do I need to do something?

    does anyone used the saved game? coz they send the save game to me but when I load the save game it's still corrupted.

    Dear friends, I re-tested both the savegames and both them work perfectly. So be sure of using them for the memory slot 1 and for the EUR version of the game!
    Be sure of having only one savegame for the memory slot 1!

    I dont get it when you say memory slot 1, I only have 1 sd card from my psp, sorry for noob question also as far as i'm concern the only english ver. of patapon 2 is Euro version right? it's just I can't use the save game.

    What I did is I put the save game from psp/savegame/... not sure if this is the exact folder but I recognize the folder of all my savegame on this one.

    please advice.

    1. be sure of using only a savegame (don't keep other savegames of patapon2 in your psp) and you will resolve the problem of the memory slot.
    2. if your game version is in English, is the EUR version.

    Hi guys, in order to write (and understand) better, please set your nickname so we can track the dialogues.

    And to be clear write always your Country code and language! We don't know why this savegame creates so many troubles. We tryed and tested more times on our psp and it works well, hence please write more details, we or anyone can help you better.

    I deleted all save games and game data in my PSP. I restarted the game and created the game data and later I copied the (hacked) save game into my PSP yet it still said "Load failed. The data is corrupted".

    FYI My PSP version is 3.71 and I'm playing EU version of PSP, language English.

    I can't figure out what other ways to make it work.

    don not create a new game data. Now delete all, and again extract the savegame directly to /psp/savedata. the archive already contains folder so you'll see it with save files inside.

    This is what happened after following your advice:

    I removed everything related to Patapon save and game data. Next I copied the hacked save game into PSP.

    1. When started the game, it prompts "No system data found. Create a new save file?"
    2. Select "No".
    3. "System data will not be saved until a new save file is created. Continued playing anyway?"
    4. If Select "No", game returns to #1 message.
    5. Select "Yes". Then try to load the game and it saids "Corrupted data".

    Again I tried selecting Yes after step #1. The game will create a new game data. Next I tried loading the save game and it saids "Corrupted data".

    Also I did extract patapon2savegame.rar to /psp/savedata

    I can see the save game in the psp's Save Game Utility though

    Ok,it's very strange. To help all us, it's better you send us a savegame of yours. So we can analyze it and try to discover the strange behavior.
    Start a new game, save as soon as possibile, quit, go into memory stick, compress the folder of the game, and sent it us via mail.
    You can find our mail on community post.

    i have the same problem with mojo, not only this save but other saves as well.
    i search the web and they all say you need to upgrade to the latest firmware cause if the save has a firmware above yours, you cant use it...

    Yes I read a lot of posts in regards to upgrading it to 5.00 however I'm trying not to do it. Let's hope that megamolecola has a solution to this.

    I have the same problem after upgrading the firmware from 3.90 M33 to 5.00 M33, my savegames gives a corrupt data message. Maybe your downloaded savegame was made on another firmware version?

    Am I correct in assuming that papapon2savegame and onemillionpatapon2 are still EU versions?

    I have the PSP-Go system, current firmware, and downloaded Patapon 2 from Sony US store.

    First, is there any way to make the EU saves work, and second are you guys working on making US savegames?
